Amar Sainik School came into being in 1985 as a dream child to help the Sainik Staff children and to help the nearby village people. It is started with 50 children, since then the school has undergone a lot of changes for the better. Now the present strength of the school is about 250 children (Approx. 200 boys and 50 girls)

School Administration

It is under the management of Sainik School. Principal of Sainik School is the chairman of the Amar Sainik Nursery and Primary School.

Activities

As educational theories advocate learning by doing, the Sainik school has put in thrust this year to classes as a part of extra curricular activities. Starting from bouquet to stage probes, all items are combined efforts of students and teachers to fulfill the ideas of Learning By Doing. The children show their creativity by making use of “ Waste to Make Best”. The school also has started imparting tolerance and understanding the significance by celebrating every festivals during our school assembly. Vinayakar Chaturthi, Raksha Bandhan, onam, Pongal, Bakrid, Christmas, are only few to be named.
